Love your reviews, and good luck with the GTI. However, I just went out and jumped in my 2012 TSX Wagon, which includes physical buttons, paddle shifters, great suspension and the K24z3...one of the best 4 cylinder motors Honda ever built...and I realized again how much I don't miss touch screens, sliders, crummy stereos, etc.

Wireless CarPlay is way overrated…wired works so much better…maybe when wireless charging improves it’ll be a good option…even on cars I’ve owned with wireless carplay, I still plug it in to charge since wireless chargers stink unless you go aftermarket…

The manual in the Honda's is still around but most buyers go automatic these days!!! Yes I work at a Honda store service dept in Jacksonville,NC!!! Not big on the Honda look . Hyundais seem to have a lot of recalls. Insurance companies not insuring them because of security issues. Rav 4 are too tall , it’s hard to load cargo up on the roof . Kia doesn’t have a reliable track record. Hate the auto stop/start. Too much tech that can breakdown and costs a fortune to repair. I really don’t like anything being offered today ( not interested in EV) and the vehicles cost a fortune .

Nothing to criticize about the car, it's fantastic. I have a '15 GTI fuel gauge goes down quick but is a small tank. I notice the door handles on new GTI has a lot of wiggle to them when pulled on. They are fun cars to drive.

The Venza is gone? That's too bad. I like the Signa, but its too big to fit in my garage. I guess I will have to go back into a RAV4 Hybrid then for my next vehicle, or Corolla-Cross Hybrid. Oh well...bigger is not always better! I love the Venza I currently own and don't want the bloated prices of the Lexus RX. I hate when Toyota makes a decision to go backward, forcing buyers into something they don't want. I don't want or need a big school-bus like Signa! Bad news for me.

I'm completely against this. I'm tired of hearing about emissions. We need to fix how we feed ourselves if we want the environment to thrive. These turbos aren't going to fix anything. Just stick with buying used v6's and v8's. They last because they're not stressing to make the power that they make

As a 24 manual Golf R owner, I approve of this video 😁 Congrats on your purchase! I'm a bit jealous of your colour choice, since I only had 3 choices, I went with the classic Lapiz Blue. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of the car so far. I'm slowly getting used to the buttonless interface too and, yes, the hill-hold assist shenanigan is a major mishap on VW's part. Not sure why they had to make it so difficult. Enjoy the car!!

I like the Golf R for what it is but there are way too many glitches and problems with the MK8. I'm hoping the 8.5 is a big step forward in reliability. As a car to actually own I'd pick the Type R or Type S
